(Monitoring and Evaluation Officer)
Eugenia Owusu is a motivated and detail-oriented Public Health Officer (Health Informatics) student at the Catholic University of Ghana, Sunyani. She is currently serving as a Health Information Officer with the DEENT Sub-BMC at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, where she is responsible for managing departmental data, ensuring accurate data entry into electronic health systems, and supporting effective reporting processes. Her role involves handling data-related duties with precision, contributing to improved data quality and informed decision-making within the facility.
In addition to her primary role, Eugenia is an active member of the Himalayan Cataract Project team, where she serves as data personnel. In this capacity, she supports data collection, management, and reporting efforts for eye care interventions, further strengthening her experience in handling health data within diverse program settings.
Eugenia has developed strong competencies in data management, analysis, and reporting, with a keen interest in leveraging health informatics to enhance healthcare delivery and outcomes. She is committed to maintaining data accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity while supporting health programs through reliable information systems.
As a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer with the Basic Life Support Foundation, Eugenia is dedicated to working diligently to support the organization’s mission. She aims to contribute meaningfully to monitoring and evaluation activities by ensuring accurate data tracking, timely reporting, and evidence-based assessments that drive program effectiveness and impact.
